PINE GROVE AT GOODDALE PARK CLOSED
At the January 6, 2009 Board of Parks Commissioners meeting, it was voted
that the Pine Grove be closed until further notice. The vote was taken to
ensure that the Public and the Town are protected from the dangerous
situation which currently exists at the Pine Grove, i.e. falling branches, trees.
No Trespassing signs have been posted. Pine Grove is off limits as well as the
MIDNIGHT PARKING BAN
The Midnight Parking Ban is now in effect. There is no parking on Town
streets from midnight to 5 a.m. each day. The parking ban is also in effect
whenever parking on the streets would hamper snow removal efforts.
During the school year, Police vehicles will be monitoring the school zones,
randomly following bus routes and patroling bus locations. Officers will
continue to conduct numerous, random ''walk throughs'' of the school as well.
